Maghera will be once again full of festive fun this year, with the official big switch-on of the town's Christmas lights on Saturday 2nd December, from 3pm-6pm.

or be entertained as you stroll around the garden. Enjoy a warming drink on the lane.

Get crafty for Christmas in the Lurach Centre, where all the family can make a Christmas Badge, write their letter to Santa and post it in the Walled Garden post box, make a Christmas decoration or special reindeer food, or get your face painted.

The Parish of St. Lurach's, Maghera & Killelagh are holding their Parish Christmas Dinner on Wednesday 6th December 2023 at 7pm in The Lurach Centre.

Carols by Moonlight with the Curragh Silver Band will take place on Wednesday 20th December at 7pm in the Lurach Centre (moved from Maghera Rectory due to inclement weather).
